How to plan 3 weeks trip to South Island?

We (6 of us) are visiting NZ’s South Island in November for 3 weeks and are hiring RV’s to get around.
I’m planning on doing some research before we come over but thought I’d ask all of you that are in the know
What are the must see, can’t miss places? Thanks in advance

Arthur pass and make a stop at castle hill. The hot springs at hamner springs north of christchurch. At north point at South Island. In clear weather you can see over to north Island. Wanaka with wanaka lake, there are many lakes Down South at South Island worth visiting. Do not remember The name of all. Going Jet boat at queenstown.. Franz Josef glacier and mount Cook with helicopter .. That is spectacularly flight with fantastic scenery in clear weather. They land up there. Its definitely worth the price.
